FasNuf goes to the drags.

So for those that don't see my channel but like a drag race POV, Here you go.

The car has a lot more available, but the driver just sucks!

My intent was to get launch control to cooperate, but as I found out, it's very picky on how the clutch is released. Street tires and a lot of heat made for not so great a run.

Oh well, there's next year....enjoy

Very cool! At least you were out there making passes and having fun! The air temps didn't help much either, 101, 99, yuk. Also like the added "bug splats" on the windshield, gave it some character!! lol. Thanks for sharing.

Love it. 6 speed cars may not be the E.T. kings, but are so much more fun and challenging.

Given the conditions, I think you did great!. Do you have a goal for the current setup?

Thanks guys.
Manifold air temp of 165°F is enought to pull a bunch of timing and that's what was going on here. No real goals, just wanted to try to use launch control and see if the CF driveshaft would snap under load. Shaft did great. An automatic would've been a ton easier to drive for sure. Not experienced here so can't say I'm any good, but it was fun.

got to get that interchiller fasnuf. just sign up for their email promotions and get a discount. A auto is a lot easier to launch and drive. i have to get mine to the stip.

As much as music might make it a little more dramatic, would be nice to hear the motor during the run.

Chiller would be nice but thinking of all the expense. I think if I were to get serious about dragging more often, wheels and slicks would be next.

I kinda did the music loud on purpose. LOL
I was so preoccupied that I was really late in my 3rd to 4th shift. Sounds horrid .

Nice run. I've never tried the drag strip, but do some road course stuff whenever I get the chance (not near as often as I'd like!). The car is quite capable but I'm sure I couldn't do her justice on the launch. Appreciate all the videos you post up! Some helpful content for sure.

Thanks guys, I appreciate all the comments. Sorry I couldn’t reply before I’m out of town with limited coverage. For sure I’m gonna go back to the Dragstrip next year

11.7 at 122 with a 2.0 60ft. You got a lot more in it for sure. Low 11s capable just with better 60 and more tire. It is hard to run a stick good. My buddy runs about 490rwhp with a modded stick ss and he has a hard time getting into 11s. I ran an 12.3 on stock cam with just full bolt ons and stall with suspension and drag radials. I am hoping in the next few months to run my ss with 460rwhp auto. Think I will have close to your time but not that mph. You definitely got more in it. Good run.
