Naming it Camaro turns it from boring to sexy?
Another EV nobody wants.

It's really something to watch.
The EV push is being forced onto the car makers, yet the consumers not interested, meanwhile the car companies are losing their butts and laying off workers while going full speed ahead on EVs. GMs like Disney only in much slower motion.

Maybe getting an electric main battle tank contract will pull them out of the hole.

this is full on inversion/ Evil incarnate.

the average joe on the street is being tricked/ coerced to virtue signal how good they re for buying an electric vehicle , not realizing theyre the most evil cars you can buy as the bulk of the battery ingredients are open pit mined by child/women/men in 3rd world countries, treated worse than slaves of the tobacco plantations 150+ yrs ago

I did more for the environment re-using a 37 yr old Gbody and re-using a 20 yr old LS engine swapped into it , even though it only gets 15 mpg!
the most polution it puts out is BBC burble at idle and 105 decible roars at WOT :-)

Tesla lovers are just retarded !

I find the whole idea repugnant at best. UGH. I mean, I really have nothing against EVs. If that's what lifts your skirt, by golly, go for it. But a Camaro SUV?? Let alone as an EV?? ARRRRGH!

"The production of the gas-guzzling Chevrolet Camaro is coming to an end in 2024."

The addition of "gas-guzzling" in the sentence is a clear indicator of the authors bias towards electric.

I'm expecting the feds at some point to tax the crap out of gas (even more) to force even more people to electric. Then require the big brother mileage app attached to the EV to charge you road tax along with a federal tax on your home electric bill.

If people want an EV, go for it. I'm all for the market deciding. But it seems our freedom of choice is becoming narrower and narrower - and not just EV's - by shoving ideology down our throats.

So true..., But what do you expect from msn?

2024 Might be the last gas powered Camaro of this iteration. Fingers crossed that they're keeping the name for a future i.c.e version.

You're starting to see some reporting on chinks in the woke armor of the business world. Bud Light being the most visible of the pushback. By this time in 2020, the "DEI Officer" (diversity, equity, inclusion) was the hottest new job. It's now one of the most laid off. You're also stating to see the woke whine about crime in their hell hole, woke cities.

Ford even said they have no plans to end ICE's in their larger truck line. 'Alternative fuels"' are being developed for ICE's too. I think the EV is here to stay for some but the smart auto makers haven't gone all in quite yet. And...elections have consequences!

Most (journalists) i.e. propagandists are lefties. They love them some propaganda and censorship.
