Granddaughter and I on a Cruise

Those are the moment's that you cherish. Makes me realize that I wish one of my kids enjoyed or wanted to share in the hobby like your granddaughter has. Maybe one day one of my grand kids (none yet that I know of!) will be interested.

It really was a great weekend. And not just about cars. A couple of late nights video gaming, movie watching and really having some good discussions about her future plans and life in general. I have been so blessed, it's just amazing.

Eat it up brother, eat it up!! That's what life is all about. Too many folks out there will never know, because they don't know how to just RELAX and live a little. Life is way too short to not.

Thanks guys, it really is a wonderful thing! I won't ever claim to walk on water, but I set out from the moment she was born, to be the best grandparent to her that I could and I think, I've done ok by her so far.

The single most important and cherished people in my life growing up, were my paternal grandparents. Working class people who never had a lot of money but would give you their time and love unconditionally, and shirts off their backs if you ever needed something. They had the patience of a saint when it came to the lot of us rowdy kids of the 70s. I miss them both, dearly.
