Drive modes
So I am new to the ZL1. I been driving 2 weeks and the touring and sport mode have the exact same ride quality. I can tell throttle and steering are more aggressive is sport but shouldn’t the shocks be softer in touring.? My ride feels identical between the 2

Touring is the softest, sport is firm and track is more firm.
Give it some time and you'll feel the difference. I can feel the suspension change when I go between all 3 settings. You can also go select which steering or suspension or exhaust mode you on all the time regardless of which mode you have selected. Just select settings the drive mode on the infotainment screen. Just note that track or sport for the exhaust will still cause the exhaust flaps to close once you have the car going at a constant speed. And do not leave the exhaust in tour of you're racing. Touring, sport and track mode each change the way the car shifts and holds each gear, if you have the A10. |

I don’t notice a big difference between the modes. I can tell between Tour and Track but my butt can’t feel much difference between Tour and Sport for typical street driving. Read up on magnetic ride and you will get a better understanding of how it works. I think if you were to push the car you would see more of a difference since Sport and Track mode stiffen up the magnetic damper and provide better control flatter cornering.

I don't see much difference as far as ride is concerned between Tour and Sport either. I noticed more cruising rpm in sport and track and stiffer steering in track.

Yeah, I customize my drive mode anyway. I hard code Steering to Tour, leave the suspension mapped to the drive mode and I pulled th fuse for the exhaust so the valves are always open. So, when I change modes with the switch I am only changing the mag ride suspension setting and throttle response. Remember, if you want to engage Performance Shift Mode on the A8/A10 at any time you need to be in Sport or Track.

It's pretty amazing how integrated these cars are (and many others nowadays). There are different characteristics and combinations among the ELSD, tranny, suspension, exhaust, stability control, throttle, power, etc.
I feel like I can tell the difference in ride from TOUR to SPORT, but it's on roads that have some undulations or roughness to them. Like - I couldn't tell a difference, more-or-less, on highways, but on country roads, it was quite evident. JMO.
