Weapon-X Ice Box install

I bought the Weapon-X ice box to go with my heat exchangers, they came in today but they didn't supply any directions. Has anyone installed this set up before? I reached out by phone and email to ask some questions but I haven't gotten a response yet. I have the following questions:
1) The intercooler pump has a connector on it, why? where does it connect to? (see pic)
2) Where should the pump be mounted?
3) Where in the intercooler system should the tank be tied into?

I was going to order one, but wasn't going to re-route all of the electronics in the trunk. So, I went with the Cordes 2.5 front mount tank.

I don't, but Joel will once he installs it. He bought my blower set up and the tank was included. I never installed it. It's 2.5 gallons and that is plenty and considering it's a front mount with no special instructions, to me, that's the ice tank to go with. Someone needs to hit up Aldo Welds and have him start building his tanks for the 6th Gen.

I have one and installed it. I mounted my pump on the bumper bar. The outlet from the tank has grid welded over the hole to keep ice from going down into the pump. I moved the electronics to the sides. I had to make mount for the fuse block.

Where did you order the Cordes from?

The connector is the pump's power supply. Did it come with the female connector, and fused wiring? Pump should be close to the tank as possible (depending on pump). Does this mount in trunk? Pick of a tank built 6.75 gallons rule 2000 in tank.

Hit up Joe at Cordes. Or Weapon X sells them.

Scooter,
Did you power pump with a 40A relay? What did you tap into for power? Where did you run your hoses to?

No, but it looks pretty simple. You'll need to cut a bigger whole in the beauty plate for the cap to fit through or they'll supply you with one for like $100 extra. I just liked it cus you don't have to mess with any electronics in the rear trunk. Plus, 2.5 gallons does just fine anyways. At the end of the day, it gives you more flow. Loading up a 5 gallon ice tank is only good for one or two passes anyways. The Cordes hooks right up to your stock system or it works with Weapon X's HX system. Plus it's a front mount. As mentioned, once we take off all of my blower stuff and install it on Joel's, I'll make sure to take some pics of the install.

I used a relay yes. Since the connector removes from the pump I cut that other connector off and soldered wires with heat shrink tubing on there. I got the new style add a circuit fuse tap. Fuse tap has spots for two fuses, one for the original circuit and new circuit. I believe I used the heated steering wheel fuse, in the trunk fuse block. It was hot with the ign on. You run the hoses down the ground effects. You run the new pump in parallel with the factory pump. So out of the heat exchanger in the front, over top of the RF wheel well down the ground effect, and over the rear suspension. That's your return hose to the reservoir. The other hose would go down the left ground effects and to the supercharger. All the other hoses will stay in their original locations. If you notice the right small heat exchanger is for the engine cooling system and the left one is for the supercharger. Send me your email because I think I have the instructions I can email you.

Does the front bumper have to come off?
