Are you currently having issues with the current plugs? A lot of modded guys such as yourself have been using TR6's without issue.

nope not really, they actually have been pretty good. would get the TR6's again, just wanted to see if anyone else had any other recommendations or experience with something better

i've inspected them a few times and seems to be normal wear on them. one had a bit of oil on the top part of the threads, but could of been just me not tightening that one plug enough last time i checked them

Another vote for the NGK TR6IX - have used pretty much the life of my car, multiple cammed setups, always been a good plug, stays clean, good tuning margin for stock-ish compression on 93 octane. The last set I pulled out probably could have just went right back in - but when you have fresh ones sitting right there, you pop 'em in.

AC Delco 41-104 is a good equivalent to the TR6IX for heat range and material.

I ran the TR55's when I was just LT's, CAI and a custom dyno tune. When we cammed it my tuner swapped them for the TR6IX's...

There are opinions on both sides to use or not use it.
My advice would be, if you’re going to use it…”sparingly” is the key.
