Nervous jacking the car up

Am I the only one who still gets nervous anytime I lift the car.
I am so use to my Tacomas and jacking them up by a frame and it being so much easier and less stressful.
I have my Jack pads on the pinchwelds in all the correct spots but i still get nervous lifting it because i still hear creaks every so often and in my head i just expect to see the jack go through the floor.

No concern should be had. The jack points are designed for the purpose. The dealer has zero hesitation.

Pinch welds are great because they are stiff and far away from the suspension. If there's a bit of yield when lifting, it won't affect alignment and tracking.

i am with the OP... i have the lift pads installed, but something in my head (mostly you forum guys with terrible stories) says the whole thing is going to come crashing down, with me swearing alot on the garage floor.

Likely, the creaking you are hearing is not the car; it's the jack.

While the aluminum racing jacks are nice because they are light, they are a bit skiddish to me. While heavy, I purchased a heavy duty steal Harbor Freight jack and it is so much more confidence inspiring.

I have a brand new Daytona 3 ton low profile jack. Retired my 24 year old craftsman jack.
I guess I will try and just lift and think it’s in the correct spots

Yes sir.I even had boards wedged under the back tores to keep it from rolling. My first tranny, diff. fluid change. 37 k miles. And I yes I got splashed.
