Congrats on the purchase. Although I would have purchased the SS 1LE.

I think the 19 would have better build quality. I would not get a 23 because of that , maybe even a 22.

Maybe they will take more care with a zl1 , but who knows? I would look for a older one. I got my 21 v6 new it was built 7-20 , has 36k miles and never been to dealer. Build quality is good ,glad I didn't wait any later.

1.ZL1
2. SS1LE

If not you always would be wishing to go back on time to get the ZL1.

ZL1 has all the great Suspension parts of the SS1LE plus a monstrous Supercharger engine. Who would not like a 650HP VS 455HP?

Does not matter is used just buy a certified used and even if you want you could get an extended warranty if you want one.

You and I are on the same page, but we already own a ZL1 and SS 1LE, so we get it but I was the same way. I had to get the LT4 power out of my system and then I realized I can barely use the extra power. Then I made the mistake of getting the A10 when deep down I really wanted manual. Tons of power with lack of driving engagement due to the A10 trans and nowhere to let it stretch its legs.

The good news is it only cost me about $3k to drive it for 18 months and check it off my bucket list.

ZL1 will hold value better, but ss 1le is more than enough for the streets. I'm still looking for an opportunity to floor my 1le since I got it 3 weeks ago, but all I do is stay in traffic
