I pick up my 2023 Rapid Blue ZL1 1LE 6 speed one day next week.

What kind of break in is needed?

congrats! gonna be fun. you can download the owners manual and see break-in details. its a few hundred miles, easy on the brakes and tires. until couple hundred more after that: no downshifting for engine-braking, no high-rpms. i think there's an absurdly low top-speed recommendation for break-in, but nobody can keep it under 55, obviously.

CONGRATS on the ride, you will LOVE the color!! I know I do!! and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Welcome...

There are 1,500 mile break in procedures in the manual which basically say drive it easy for a while and then give it all hell.
