And you know 2-3 years ahead of time what you'll want to replace it with?

Most dealers have had a Z06 reservation list for over a year. I started ours when I started the C8 Stingray list. The folks at the top of the list have been there for over 2 years.

I would be definitively impressed with the 2023 Z06 if it is able to beat the performance of the new Porsche 992 GT3 and the previous C7 Z06, that would be something extraordinary. Let's see.

I’d be surprised, maybe a bit disappointed, if it didn’t. GM spent a lot of time benchmarking it to the GT3.

The one in the picture seems to be the 991 GT2RS Nurburgring's lap record holder

Correct, we were on a reserve list almost 2 years ago not long after we purchased our C8. We were 2nd at our dealership. We called yesterday and they said the order banks are not open. the website configurator is all that's available right now.

Whether this car(Mid-engine/FPC/DCT) is for you or not, how can you not be impressed? GM has raised the bar way up with this car, nothing like it at it price range. It's not for me as I get bored with DCTs, but I am beyond impressed with the FPC GM produced, and also love how it kicks the Voodoo in the teeth.

Not sure if anyone saw the leaked 1/4 information for the Z06 yesterday. Supposedly it will run 10.6@134mph in the 1/4 equaling the 2019 ZR1.

Supposedly the 2022 model year is going to be a short one. Several Corvette sites are reporting 2023 production to start May 9. If true, could have some real world data on the Z06 by late summer 2022.

Given its price, it more than compares with anything even remotely close to its price range. There's still two more Corvette models coming that can compete with the world's best hypercars. |

Was able to get on a Z06 list locally. I love the car but didnt feel like going whole hog on trying to get one. The dealer didn’t even take deposits because they weren’t worried about being able to sell them. I think im 20 on that list? So if im lucky possibly 2024? Put it this way, I ordered a ZL1 LE to hopefully get for next spring. Im not holding my breath on the Z06. I wont pay over msrp for one and dont want to drive myself insane trying to get one either.

I put a sign up at my local Safeway with my phone number and my desire to own one. Surprisingly, no one has called. I'm bummed! But I am impressed!!!

Isn't GM still using those same turn signal stalks from a Chevy Malibu? If you want to play with the big boys, all details matter |
