doable even with normal foods, but nothing in between meals. depends how taxing the workouts are.

Yeah but I started this to support Jason not to lose weight. I just don't know how I will wake up that early to workout.

Yeah, 1k calories a day is doable even at McDonalds.
I've lost weight just by running a mile every day. A few weeks ago when I was getting ready for my PAT test for FHP I was running a mile in the morning and a mile in the evening. It sucks at first but gets easier.

I feel like 1,000 calories is unhealthy when you are working out twice a day.

it probably is. for someone like you on that caloric intake a long walk every night would suffice.
