Manual Transmission oil change frequency??

I'm switching to royal purple syncromax this week at 20k and am wondering how often your supposed to change it once it's a synthetic. Using magnetic drain plug as well.

The '14 owners manual says every 45,000 miles. BTW, if you have an iPad, you can download your manual to iBooks for easy reference.

Had bad luck with RP, changed it took it to the track had problems with 2 to 3 shift. Whether truth of not. Read an article about the RP swelling up the stop rings. Got it out quick and replaced it with Pennzoil syncromesh world of difference shifting no problems after that

In addition to the magnetic plug, you may also want to consider a pack of Neodynium magnets from Harbor freight.
They cost around $3 for a pack of about 10 magnets. they are super strong and will stay on almost forever.
