The bulbs are plug & play. You do need resistors, 1 per bulb. DD's resistor kits come in 2 to a kit. So, for 2 kits for 4 lights. The inline splice clips are great & make the installation easy. Took less than an hour. The LEDs are not ridiculously bright, but brighter than the stock incandescent bulbs.
