Adding factory heated seats

Has anybody actually done it successfully? I see a few threads where people attempt it, but they never post their results.

I know I'd need the actual heat pads for the bottom and back of the seat. I've seen people say that the passenger seats in some cars have heaters in them already, but I don't know if all cars have them, or just certain cars? Is there a way I can verify that the passenger seat has them without tearing them apart?

I know I have to get the BCM reprogrammed. I can get the dealer to do that. I will also need the factory controls, but I'm going to use an aftermarket dash kit, so that won't be a problem.

Is there any differences in wiring harnesses? Do I have to order a different harness?

Basically, has anybody done it? Can you tell me what you had to do to get it done? I'll write up a DIY with pictures if I can get it done, but there's no reason to re-invent the wheel if somebody has already figured some of this out.
