Hello From East Texas

Hi new here and new to Camaro ownership or a "car" for that matter, always had big trucks so big change. Bought a 2016 2SS
This has been a car i have wanted since i was 18. Shocked my wife when i came home with it seeing as we have 2 young girls ( who love the car) and I have a 1966 C10 Chevy truck in the backyard.
I live in Longview about an hour from Shrevport La and 2 hrs from Dallas.
Didn't take me long to start ordering mods and extras for it. I have already put a K&N CAI, blacked out all lights with diode dynamics, even had the SS blacked out but left the chrome. Also have a SCT X4 to set it up. On my next day off I will be installing the mishimoto radiator and auxiliary hoses already did the black auxiliary tank.
will be doing the exhaust next but want to do headers back and i have the NPP so not sure which set up to use. Was thinking of having the 2nd cats removed soon and run like that for awhile but not sure if that would cause issues???

Welcome to the Camaro 5 forums. That is one beautiful Camaro you have there I really like the clear taillights and Congratulations on your mods very nice! When you install your radiator make sure you refill your cooling system with fresh Genuine GM AC Delco Dexcool Coolant that is what all our 5th gen Camaro’s use. Do you have any plans on taking your Camaro to the track to run the 1/4 mile to see what she will run?

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
