yeah, I just read it. Sounds bad. I cancelled my order. Not worth the wait and ass pain.

I purchased a 1LE wing from an aftermarket company for less than $600. It is painted gloss black and you have to put it together. I was a little skeptical, because I wanted it for the track. To my surprise and delight it has been to 6 track days at VIR, Summit Point and Dominion without an issue. The bolts and stanchions line up perfectly with the holes. It is made of reinforced ABS. For me, it was a better option than paying $5.5K for the OEM CF one.

Just got notification today from the vendor who ordered my wing from ACS. The wing production has been halted due to quality control issues. Bad news for you folks waiting for the wing still. I canceled today.

Did it bolt onto your SS1LE trunk lid or did you get a zl1 trunk lid? Details on vendor?

Haha, I saw that post as well.. plus a few more OEM ZLE wings for sale popping up on FB over the past few days.

figured quite a few of these guys disappointed by AC could scoop some up, i know i'd pay a little extra for the OEM

Any NEW word out there from our fellow Camaro fans about Anderson's Composite Wings? Anyone receive a wing that fits correctly? Shipped without damage?

I emailed AC's last week asking if they have resolved the fitment and shipping issues. The response was yes to fitment and no response to shipping. Quote "Yes, the fitment issue has been resolved." Estimated delivery times were stated at 20-24 weeks.

Hopefully so, I know many of us eagerly await a quality built wing. AC's has had a good reputation for this until the recent troubles. They make a beautiful wing.
