Iroc-z spoiler review

Finally had a chance to get the camaro back to the shop for the Iroc-z spoiler install.

First impressions....looks great but what a pain!

Shop initially tried to wrap in gloss black, but the spoiler had too many imperfections that were showing through. So dropped off at a body shop, who said the same thing, lots of prep would be required before it was ready to paint.

Once prepped and painted, it looked great.

Onto install, the holes don’t align with the OEM holes, so the spoiler is slightly off. The end pieces don't align at all. I left them off. The left side of the spoiler is lifting off at the end, need strong double sided tape to hold it down better.

Overall, a solid B-.

If I had a do-over, I’d spend the extra and get the ACS spoiler.

*** Edit: while the spoiler does cover the existing OEM holes, it does not fully cover the marks left behind by the base of the OEM pillars (stanchions?).

It is a 3 piece spoiler, I left mine off, they don't align properly.

I love what you've done with the car. The spoiler install just seems, well, incomplete I guess. One of the reasons I don't like 3 piece spoilers. It seems as though the ends are a problem. I had the same issues with my GTO/ VXR body kit. Working on a custom spoiler for my Vert soon. Starting with 1 piece RPI and modding from there. Will post
