Someone tried to steal Heritage Grill.

Just got back from finally taking Car to Body Shop. Someone definitely did try to steal Heritage Grill off the Camaro.( or trying to get at Intercooler BOV or other stuff??) If could see up close now would be able to see where they were prying it up with something and Cracked the Paint On Front Nose and damaged it. ( inside oval areas) Will need repaired and repainted Paint will probably start peeling Buddy that owns the Shop said. Just pees you off.
May be an excuse now to put a wrap on it instead since Car Finish needs a good going over.

WTF? Who does that?

I mean its obviously going to be a damaged Heritage Grill by the time they got it off. Underneath your hood is a freaking treasure trove only held back by a stamped steel latch. Did they try to pry the hood up?

I noticed a few missing screws off my diffuser a couple of weeks back too. WTF man....

I've since added a few of those little 'screw covers', with a bit of liquid nails to HOPEFULLY prevent this from happening again.

I feel ya OP.

I know people are desperate to get their hands on a heritage grill, but this is taking that to the extreme. Sorry you're going to have to deal with this headache now.

Dont you have to pull the whole front fascia off to change out a grill? Not that that would stop some but just sayin.

Yep you sure do, but like you said, "not that would stop some...". People are just ridiculous sometimes. No respect for anyone else.

Totally agree...especially the scuzzballs that hang around Home Depot parking lots and steal a hard working man's tools and work truck.

Hope you can "buff that out" OP.

This was either someone that already owns a Camaro or someone that is familiar with the value of an OEM Heritage grill...which is likely a former Camaro owner.

Either way, it is total shit. I am a firm believer in karma. She may not act quick, but she hits hard.
