It would depend on whether the column is different, using different wiring harness connectors and the keyed mount in the center. You would literally have to see a 16 Steering wheel without the airbag and compare it to the style that is in yours.

One note on the 16 steering wheel, I noticed GM borrowed the Camaro logo & chrome trim from the 2010-2011 Steering wheel.

Waiting for a guinea pig...

I kinda like it (which is about one of the only good things about the 6th gens I like, I think the car is just fugly!!).. That and moving the door handle was the only good thing. And the trunk having more space is nice, otherwise ewww!!

More importantly, can a 6th gen HEATED steering wheel be swapped onto a 5th gen?

I'm willing to buy a 6th gen steering wheel If someone can make it work. Probably need the clock spring too but I am very interested in the swap. I want to put a 6th gen heated in My 5th gen bad.

My guess is that the steering wheel that you have linked does not include the airbag. The airbag is usually pricey......

The moving door handle? Interior or exterior? I thought they were pretty much the same. What's the difference?

Airbag probably would run $350-$500 depending on who you buy it from

Seems like the 6th gen steering wheel has a few more functions than the 5th gen. Electrically, that my be a bigger hurdle than physically mounting the wheel.

I finally was able to compare the wheels in real life. They have the same number of button functions (except for the heated wheel of course).
I am about to order the wheel, air bag, and coil and give this a shot. Everything I read says the bcm does Not have to be reprogrammed. Therefore I am fairly confident I can make it work. I will report back here when completed.

Not a fan of the bulky 6th gen steering wheel, it was one of the first things I spotted in the interior and it threw me off.
