2010 L99 vs Scat Pack Challenger

Closed road event, 1/4 mile. My L99 got walked by a stock Scat Pack Challenger. We were neck and neck through 1st and 2nd, but he was pulling on me in 3rd and had 2 cars on me by the finish.

Been waiting since June for my headers to ship. I have all the parts for my 3.91 gear swap, but I'm trying to find a reputable shop to do the install. Wonder how close the race would've been if I had these mods in the car at the time?

The gear probably would have got ya a half car length or more if you hook, the headers with a tune would probably get you around 35-37 more RWHP and you probably could have walked HIM!!! lol. My car with my mods, they are just Banta fodder...

Even with my bolt ons and a tune I put a block on the last scat pack charger I ran.

They are quick but heavy and you can beat new ones with a few mods. The older ones are easily beat (same year as ours). But 6th gen Camaros beat on them all the time stock for stock so can’t really compare stock car vs stock car with different years.

Fact is headers and tune isnt enough for an l99 to pull on stock scat pack. It will be alot closer but nobody is putting any distance on one.

Took on a muffler delete Challenger 392, I believe thats what it had done, well we went at it from a 40 roll and I put lengths on him. I am only intake, headers, trans tune, and e85 for power adders. Still waiting for a proper custom street tune on my car as the tune was made for my shorties and now I'm long tubes.

I raced a scat pack with my bolt on L99 and still got walked from a roll. Now that im cammed I put a few car lengths on them. They are fast for a stock car.

This is accurate. I raced a few with just headers and tune and was best. They are very quick for the weight

I saw a lot of videos on Youtube and at 392 I probably wouldn't dare either.

I have LS3, long tubes, HF cats, CAI, ported throttle body, open exhaust and tune on high octane fuel.

The car is as heavy as the Titanic and it flies like a drunk into a pub

Ls3 cars have quite a bit more HP than the L99 bolt on for bolt on so you would probably walk one if you can shift half decent.
