That was about as helpful as the Adams Army usually is.

There's a review of this on Autogeek but its by an employee so take it for what its worth. He seemed to like it and said the overspray wiped away easily. I just hate using aerosols for any detailing tasks, unless your dressing an engine bay where overspray is a good thing. |

If I were to use Perl then it would require me to have multiple mixtures available for Shine , Satin and Matte. I prefer a product that starts out matte and with additional coats increase shine. Then only one container is needed JMO.

Personal preference of course. But I like to apply dressing to my wheels once. Whether it be satin matte or glossy I don't have to waste time applying multiple coats. There's a time investment in the beginning to make the mixtures but after that I think you save more time but not having to apply multiple coats than you spend making different mixtures.

Thanks everyone for the replies! I will look further into some of the other suggestions. For now, I've ordered the Meguiar's coating and will try it after my next car wash. I had already gone through two cans of the Turtle Wax stuff in the last few months and I've had good luck avoiding overspray by using a piece of cardboard to cover the section of the wheel that corresponds to the section of the tire I'm spraying. As for overspray on the body panels around the wheels (i.e. fenders), I've never had any problems with that.

I got an email from Chemical Guys today pitching a product called EcoSmart. The sales pitch is addressing exactly the dilemma I'm having these days....below freezing temps, lots of snow, salt, etc. My car's a mess. Here's a link: http://www.chemicalguys.com/Waterles.../wac_707ru.htm
Does anyone have any experience using this? CD07, I have used several of your suggestions this past year, and have had great results every time. I'd like to know what you think please. |

Doesn't mean they don't make some good products. I just usually don't expect earth shattering differences. I'd say go for it if you want. That's crazy expensive for WW though. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 2

I finally used up the last of my Adam's Leather and Interior Cleaner, any recommendations before I put in another order? I use it very often to clean surfaces that I touch frequently like the shifter, steering wheel, radio knobs, etc. but if there are any equally effective options I'd like to hear them.
