It's crazy how different garnet red can look depending on lighting...

Yeah, it runs the spectrum from dark red to copper red depending on lighting. And the cell cameras aren't the greatest. But in the sun, in person, it's stunning.

Go with the Garnet red. It's a complex color, similar to Hyper Blue, different hues depending on the light. Must see both though before deciding- have you been able to? I almost gave up on HB last week after two sold out from under me and a dealer had the Garnet. Ended up buying one down south. But the Garnet was tempting.

I've seen them both side by side and it was difficult to determine which one is better. I'm having a tough choice too because I've been wanting a bright red so I'm leaning that way, but the garnet truly is a great color. I think the 1LE really compliments every available color.

Are these GM ZL1 guards? Or aftermarket?

Not a GM part. ZL1 Addons is actually the brand. I will say that I did have to slightly modify the parts they give you. The fronts are 3M tape but the rears use existing screw holes just with spacers and longer screws. I had to grind a few of the spacers as the screws wouldn't engage the threads otherwise.

That is exactly what I ordered. Thanks for the pictures.
Did you have to remove the rear wheel to install the splash/rock guard from ZL1 ? Al |

As for the rock guards i was able to do it without taking the wheels off. I used a torx bit and channel locks being careful not to scratch the wheel well with the channel locks. It took quite a while doing it this way, but it was probably still faster than taking wheels off. I know others have done it too, may e there's a better method! Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk |

Love these wheels, thinking about switching over to them. The 1LE comes in gloss black or Matte gray wheels, right? I can't tell if some of these pictures are the black or the gray.....
