Alright I got the TSP 1 7/8" with cats ordered. I'll report back with how fitmint is.

I still don't see how the steering shaft bolts hit, they have tiny heads and don't protrude much from the weld in nut on the other side.

I have the TSP 1 7/8 LT's, and they rubbed on hard right turns. I swapped the lower steering shaft bolt with a button head and it completely went away. I autocross the car, so if it was still going to rub, i'd know it.

I have the TSP 1-7/8 longtubes on my car with the shorter shaft bolt. I regularly autox the car without any rubbing until i put sticky tires on it(re71r's).

Block of hard wood and kink the tube a bit for clearance - seems like this should be done from "factory" as engine moves a under load. Perhaps stiffer mounts is viable solution ?

How did you end up fixing this? I’ve got same exact issue from tracking my 1LE on 2” TSP Headers. Thinking about denting the header a bit in that spot. Suggestions?

Slightly flatten the tube in that area.
