Some applications, as pictured below, have internal PCV restrictions inside the cover assembly. If your application utilizes this type of connection, an external PCV valve must be added in-line on the hose. If needed, suggested PCV valves are: (1) Beck/Arnley P/N 0450299 or (2) Fram P/N FV340.

Holley would not put out a product that causes such issues. They have been around a long time. The problem is, (Me Included) that men do not feel they need to read the instructions. lol

Correct. Also, OP, are you running the Elite billet cleanside separator? If not, get it, and really need the E2 can VS the small one, but most aftermarket valve covers do NOT have good effective baffles so the oil is thrown right out the outlet by the rocker arms slinging it.

I've had holley covers on my car for 20k+ miles, never one issue. No added PCV valves/etc.
