Question Safe shot of Nitrous with TVS2300

Well, it looks like i am officially done with my nitrous applcation to my vehicle. Once i get a chance, i will post pictures of my build.

The question that i have is. I have the jets installed for a 75 shot according to the nitrous outlet chart. Most people say since i have a blower that i can net over 100 hp. I am using the lnc2000 to pull timing and have it set at 3 degrees. Is that enough timing to be pulled, should i pull more or less? Can i raise it to a 100 shot? I do have a afr gauge that i can look at, if i need to. Any advice would be great

Me too. I have a TVS2300 running a 75 shot but I have a built 417 to handle the added boost. I am thinking of going up to 100 soon. I have heard of people going as high as 150 on a stock bottom end with numerous passes.

Zl1 fuel pump. Msd boost a pump and ADM fpcm as far as supporting mods for the fuel. Stock cam and block.

I shoot mine with 150 and sometimes 200 but i run a standalone fuel cell for it using C16 and pulling 2 degree for every 50 shot. Stock cubes with forged bottom end

So is 3 degrees of timing pulled good? What about 100 shot? 4 degress?

Put a few new spark plugs in it. Do a wot run. Read the plugs. For timing, there should be a mark on the ground strap near the bend. If closer to the base of the plug, too much timing. Just bc your afr is correct, does not mean your timing is correct. Can also read the plugs to verify the right amount of fuel. Also, log your fuel pressure.

This is a great thread.. Would love to hear from a real tuner vs what worked for me..

BTW what did ya'lls compression end up being.. I wanted to sale my eforce and stuff and go to a AGP but, I allready have the parts listed at half of what I paid so I was thinking just to add some NOS. The tune and Nos will be cheaper than losing 5000.

I have Id850s and Livernois pump the injectors are right at 70% so not sure how much I could run with that setup going from stock block to a 408 LQ9 BLOCK..

Taking mine in to ADM next week to increase the shot and adjust the tune. I will leave it in his capable hands and see if I cant improve on my times a bit.
