1le drag race suspension
Who here drag races there 1le? Will probably get stoned to death for this question....but what suspension components are available for the 1le? So far ive been a 1.59 60 ft on nitrous and looking to improve on that into the 1.4x if possible.

Since you're already drag racing it, I wouldn't really focus too much on suspension as I would on tire, tire pressure, etc. What wheel/tire setup are you using? You might be limited by the rear brake setup of the 1LE. But for real, you prolly will get chastised for this. Haha.

The two biggest hurdles you will have to overcome are the infamous bog issue and the initial shock you get from manuals.
I dont know how small of a wheel you can fit on a 1le, but you want the smallest wheel on a bias ply tire. And a set of adjustable shocks.

You really may get stoned LOL, but it would be interesting to see what you could do that would not effect the track performance of the 1LE, while improving drag times.
There is a thread in the ZL1 section about some rear suspension bushing replacements, I think thats a good place to start. You will likely get some minor increase in NVH though.

Bogg issue has been fixed by a tune from rick clarke. Im running a 17x10.5 racestar with mt et street r bias plys set at @ 12 psi and launching at 4500rpm.

Winmaxx set at 3k rpm and 95% on tps. No gear lockout...so ya pretty much spraying out of the hole

I have Dragged mine and that bog off the start makes you feel like an amateur(Technically I am a amateur). Best is 12.79 @112mph completely stock except for the DSC controller.
