An old laptop that really isn't even mine. I stole it. No I'm kidding its my moms.

I need my own space on a computer for my photography and software.

Macs are pretty good for that stuff, but you know how much I complain about mine. And they're pricey. IMO you're paying more for the brand and the materials than the performance of the computer itself.

PCs are fine as long as you get decent antivirus. But you do run that risk all the time.

I like Mac's just because they're nowhere near as buggy.

You can pick up refurbished ones usually at a pretty good discount especially the previous generations.

Also the build quality is awesome, the only ones I'd consider for PC is Samsung 9 series or maybe some ultra-portable Acers.

Then again I'm just a casual computer user, nothing too fancy, but I can't stand transitioning completely to a tablet.
