^^^ Mechanic's stethoscope. I use that method for air leaks, squeaks, and creaks.

Well one of the common complaints about running catless is the increase in smell and since your not eliminating some of the sulfur you get a wiff....... One reason why I use HFC...... they are also there because its the law you have cats... but hey its just like a good old hot rod your going to smell it more running rich also, rich is good to protect a engine and prevent problems as going lean can melt a piston or fry a valve etc....

Yup ,you need a tune most likely in your future to avoid CEL from delayed response and O2 sensor codes as the distance is increased for the sensors and to adjust the AFR if you don't have one....

If you didn't use new GM gaskets, you will probably want to use those. Re torque the header bolts, and check again for leaks.

Or top down

Smells like the seventies! If you have a tail wind when stopped is the only time I notice

I have off road pipes and cutouts. The only way I smell exhaust in the cabin is with the windows down and the cutouts open at a stop. Agreed with others that if you smell it in the cabin, most likely a leak somewhere along the line. Good hunting!!
