Dexos 1 in 2014 3.6 LS

I took my Camaro to a local shop to have oil change.
I bought Castrol 5/30 synthetic dexos 1 and a STP extended life filter and had the shop do it for me.
After leaving the shop I got a low oil pressure warning. I pulled over checked oil level and it was good.
I drove back 2 miles to the shop and they said my oil pressure sensor was leaking. They replaced it at no charge.
A day later the engine when up to normal temps died while idling. I decided to remove the STP filter and install the factory AC Delco filter.

Here's my questions;
Should I drain oil and use dexos 2?
My Camaro has the performance menu where I can see temps and pressure of oil. Also shows coolant temp.

Coolant temps reach 180 and stay within a degree or two.
Oil temp goes up to 210 but mostly around 205
Bars for oil pressure are full bars when cold then at most traffic stops 2.5. If I sit with AC off it gets to 1.7-1.9
It hasn't died again...but seemed close once out of 3 more trips.

Thanks

thats pretty much what my 2015 3.6 does.84k miles,no problems with it so far.i always take mine to the dealer and they have used dexos 1 until GM switched to dexos 2.no idea why the switch or what the difference between the two is.

That is pretty normal for the 3.6. 1.7 bar is 24.65 PSI. And 2.5 bar is 36.25 PSI. Your good. If your concerned, just keep an eye on it. But you have nothing to worry about with those pressures.

The engine dying likely has nothing to do with the oil or filter. If it does the engine is shot from lack of lubrication.
