Snow is coming need snow tires

Last year was my first snow year for my Camaro. It was horrible, was getting stuck coming out off my garage, it was not even 1 inch of snow. New tires.

What is the best tire to get for winter?

check out the thread in the tire section. I also posted a pic with one stock wheel and one aftermarket with snows. Rudy will answer any questions you have.

I'd hate to drive Yelo Maro in salted snow. I suggest one of these for all the Northern members:

Depends on what you want and expect. A snow tire with a more rounded shoulder will be superior in some ways to one with a more angled shoulder, but inferior in other ways.

Blizzacks went on today - during our first winter event. Perfect timing.

Blizzaks are good, but there are other good tires for more competitive prices in my opinion.

Personally I run toyo gsi-5 all the way around and haven't gotten stuck yet. I've had it going through nearly 1 ft of snow before. Obviously not a 4x4 but a good set of snows do wonders.

PS Had the toyos going through 4 fresh inches of snow today. Got first snowfall 2 days ago.

What size in the Toyos? Don't see a OEM matching 20" SS/RS size.

I've got blizzaks. I can't wait to try them in some snow. My brother has Michelin x-ice 3s on his mustang and I've seen him go through 10 inches of snow up a driveway lol it was shocking

I just put on Scorpion Winters, Talked to Rudy for a very long time and he said these are the best for my area in NJ. Put same size tires (245/45R20) on all four Keeping my fingers crossed.

Me too. If I could afford a toy like that, I'd drive it....and folks would get out of my way.
