Like I said, I'm happy with my 3/8"... I found out about Mace's after I order my Black Ice and after reading about the differences they seem pretty close to each other... So I would think the same about the 3/8" vs 1"... should be pretty much the same. But I would love to hear from someone else...

The 3/8" is still the best overall. More testing due on the 1".

I just installed my 3/8" Black Ice-olator; and, I can definitely feel the difference. Personally, I don't see the need to jump on the 1" at this point.

Not a huge difference, and will post up dyno graphs as soon as we can.

I'd be lieing if I said I haven't been considering a switch to a 1" insulator from my 3/8". I have...but I'm afraid I'd have to mod the Vararam to make it work.

I know others here have done it with good results so I'd love to see more of that with pics and such.

Tracy if you get results please post them up!

Did you have to mod your Vararam to get it to work with the 3/8" KM?

No need to mod VR with the 9mm but will have to for the larger version I'm guessing

Gonna wait and see more real results before buying again. Maybe wait for the 3" that comes out soon.

Will either of these fit under the BMR 4 point brace (without the engine cover)?

I am not really sure how much of a difference going from 3/8 to 1" you would feel. I just don't think the difference on the dynos show anything that would be like a Permagrin difference especially if the investment has been made already. I have to admit I have given it thought as to the switch but just not convinced it is worth it.

I have had the 3/8 on for about 3 weeks and really like it. Don't think it is worth changing either.
