If he does bad- he sucks
if he does good- he sucks

he races a clean race, doesn't crash anybody, fights hard, keeps his car in good shape and he doesn't deserve 2nd place.

I hate Kyle Busch with a passion, but at least I can admit he is a good driver.

Its not like he was running 40th and everybody on the track ran out of gas. He was in contention at the end of the race, and raced hard and choose the correct lines and the correct times to make his moves. He did it clean, and he did it well.

And then he takes off and drives all over... if he can do pretty good in a Toyota, just imagine what he can do in a Chevy!

The only argument I have against him is that he has the best equipment in Nascar and still did so poorly last year. Today he wasn't really in contention, maybe a top 10..but not 2nd

If he wasn't in contention, and people were not wrecking or running out of gas in the top 10, then how did he get 2nd?

Did he defy reality? Come on. He got 2nd. He earned 2nd. He earned it late, but he earned it.

The race wasn't over when he was 10th. It was over when he was 2nd. No one handed him second, It didn't fall in his lap.
He raced his way to 2nd. Just like McMurray raced his way to a win.

Some people let their hatred for a particular racer skew their perception of reality.

Trust me, I am not invested enough in a particular racer or even NASCAR in general to get anymore invested in a back and forth with you or anyone else.

I just laugh at blinding bias. Something that can be found in Nascar discussions, and also found in Camaro vs Mustang topics.
