ZL1 1LE Brake lines
Does the ZL1 1LE come with upgraded brake lines for the track or do they need to be replaced?

Standard OEM rubber brake lines.
Goodridge now has a set available with the correct brackets for the front lines. Goodridge USA 12299 G-STOP SS Braided Brake Line Kit Available through Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Goodridge-122...oodridge+12299 |

I haven't really found the car needs them yet. Have you?

Absolutely true, not needed...yet.
Heat, pressure, ethylene compounds and rubber (as I am sure that you are well aware, no slight intended) are not the best of friends. Braided lines are just a great insurance policy for protection against the combination of the potential for abrasion, chemical degradation and radiant heat from hard braking under track/race conditions. It would be an awesome addition to the 1LE option. My humble opinion.

The Renick's are a little cheaper from Weapon-X.
I cant bring myself to like the Goodridge lines. I had a bad experience with them years ago. I also dont like an un-coated line, which the goodridge, unless you special order them, appear to be. |

SS lines on this car really are more aesthetics. I've heated the fronts to turn the calipers from silver to gold in one long TT. Never lost pressure. The braided are not essential. In fact, I bought a second set of OEM lines as spares and never had to use them. But yeah, it makes you feel good and look even better so move the finger closer to that hair trigger.

I bet if you cut an OEM line, you’ll see braided steel inside.
