They aren't "Banned" you just can't ORDER one after Dec 31, 2020 until the 2022 models come out with different brakes... You can even buy an in stock one on a dealer lot after Jan 1, 2021...

But wouldn't that mean that Dealers can't restock their inventory once the Camaros are sold?

Since the inventory is already low due to the Pandemic it basically means sales of SS and ZL1s are done for 2021.

Yup, buy what's out there before it's gone or save more for a down payment while you wait on a new 2022.

Yes, but that does NOT mean they are "Banned"... I can still drive and own my 2020 2SS... And even buy another one if I can find one in stock (or even order one on Dec 31)...

And they had what, over 10 years to prepare for this based on when the law was passed?

Which begs the question, will Chevrolet actually come up with a compliant brake system for California and Washington. Will they say screw it, its a low volume car that will be gone in 3 years, so why bother.

It means they'll probably just swap to another brake pad for a couple years. NBD.

Might want to look at the stupidity involved in the states concerned, not Chevrolet...

We just need Brembo/Fedoro to produce the C8's Zero-copper Non-Asbestos-Organic (NAO) brake pads in the pad shape for the 6th Gen.

Does this also apply to all replacement pads? Hawk, Carbotech, etc?
