Pros and Cons of Snow/Alky/AEM Meth kit

Looking to add a meth kit. Which brand is more favorable and why?

I was leaning towards AEM bc of the controller.

The AEM controller is nice. I suggest that you scrutinize the components of each kit. I’m going with the ALKY kit for that reason. The braided steel lines and brass fittings are a nice improvement over kits with plastic tubing and quick connect fittings. Although the ALKY controller is a bit archaic looking.

If you want safe, stay away from Meth just tune it correctly on the E85. you can piss on the fire if you like but you will just lose power if you are simply adding meth and not tuning for it. Tune for it for gains and to run right but then if you have an issue with the meth injection, BOOM

It’ll for sure get tuned. Just looking to squeeze every single thing out of the blower. On top of that I want to get a smaller pulley, so more boost= more heat.

i think there are a few ways to use it. In your scenario you are running on the raggedy edge of what your blower can do, heat and IAT's surely can be improved. Will you gain tons? i think people see like 30 40 horse, but what you really do is change the IAT's and protect from detonation beyond what E85 does, maybe your local station has a bad batch of corn gas, im sure the methanol will help pick up where the CPU will pull timing.

All the highest HP stock block engine cars i have seen 900-1000 hp stock motor with boost are all E85 with a alky kit.

No, unless you are pumping meth all the time. Which is wasteful. If you kick it in at say 50% TPS, your tuner will have to pull fuel, e85, or you will run rich. Under those circumstances, if your meth pump fails, boom. Just get a good e85/premium tune and be happy.
