Thanks!

I'm all for BSM (and BDSM HEY-OH!!!!), but maybe not sooo much the other two. I'm not going to complain if they're there, but I'd be more interested in a forward vision camera for parking purposes.

I personally would love to see corvettes performance data logger with front camera.

What's the deal with push button start? I don't get why so many people are demanding it.

I think a lot of it has to do with the recent ignition switch recall. I would think GM would just start moving towards push button to get as far away from that as possible.

The Front Facing camera wouldn't be mounted on the grill for parking... it would be on the windshield so wouldn't work for parking

I'll bet the 1LE and ZL1 will have it

I have owned two cars with it, best thing they ever invented. I get annoyed having to carry keys for this car, I always get in the car and have the keys in my pocket, Have to get out of the car again to get them. The SRT Challenger had auto entry if the fob was in your pocket the doors would unlock when you touched the handle, sat down pushed the start button and drive away, never had to touch the fob.

Somebody told me that the C7 has an optional forward parking assist camera. Is that true, or are they just confusing that with the PDR?

So for starters, Ford has set the "standard". GM has to either match or provide more car for the price.

I believe GM will offer a 2.0T as standard, which should hold the starting price close to today. Ford has a V6 standard for less than today's Camaro base and up charges for the turbo 4 cylinder.

As pointed out, GM is still higher in base price for a 1SS vs GT. That is why Camaro is now suddenly number 3 in the pony car sales race.

So look for GM to offer a superior performing SS package compared to the GT for MORE money.

But I also believe that there will be a jump from today to get the 2SS equivalent. There will be more performance and more "stuff" to get standard.

We shall see......................but not May 16. That will be the car with a bunch of "at least....." for HP and other performance metrics. Price will certainly not be announced. HP will not be announced and FE will not be announced.

I'm curious to see if they will announce finalized numbers for power and weight like they did on the CTS-V.
