I got some email replies last night....
they do not do remote tuning any longer, but say any experienced hp or efi live tuner can tune these cams.. the tools to make this job easier are possibly avail on ebay, they do lend the tool kit at $350us refunded upon return, but are out at this time and usually 3 week turn around..(working on finding tools/prices) power increases avg 50rwp and 45ftlb torque with custom dyno tune. confirmed cam kit price at $1090.00 us shipped.... |

Sounds like some one is gunna have to man up and try te cams again and take it to somebody like FSP or another reputable shop.

I would be tempted if they would do a custom grind for nitrous. I thought of buying a second motor, do cams, heads, rods, and if anyone makes a nitrous piston.

Hmmm .... i have 3.91 gears going in tomorrow and tune set up weds afternoon, ill ask what deal if any he would on a retune within a month if i installed cam package to see difference between a modded n tuned and a modded,cammed n tuned LFX!!

I will have enough to order cams on Friday, i spoke to the shop who is installing gears and will install cam package for 400 if supply specialty tools to make it easier... maybe someone here has these tools could loan them to make this happen as it would be at least 3 weeks before Mace will have tools to lend with a 350 deposit to boot... depending on that and what retune will cost this could happen within months time!!

Im going attempt to call Mace tonight for some additional info on this third tool and any help they can offer. I talked to Jeff at Next Level Performance who is doing initial tune with my current mods (CAI,vmax tb, jac-fab ported intake and extendolator, vitesse tc, solo hfc, muffler deletes and 3.91 gears) who had done some of the initial testing on jac-fabs' intake and extendolator says a retune is $300... At this point the the tool and the retune is what would put this on delay.. hopefuly the tool thing will work out and maybe there could be a fund raiser for the retune
