Or simply reply "no" since there's no further news from any sources on them... anything dealing with cams needs to be custom done.

No, I think the cams have pretty much hit a dead end due to their complexity for the DI engine, cost, and unsure gains. FI is the way to go on the V6 or nitrous if you choose. I'm looking at the IPF kit or possibly the roots kit that has surfaced, if it produces decent gains.

BlackoutLFX and Jason@JacFab went through some ordeals trying to pave the way for this mod, but it just didn't work. BlackoutLFX had some difficulty dealing with Mace for their proprietary LFX cams, but it was all for nought. Jason, if I recall correctly, bought a set of LF3 cams and an LF3 intake to see if there was a possibility of making something happen, but there weren't any significant differences with the LF3 cams.

You do have access to heads and cams. It's just gunna have to be custom. I've even considering buying a set of oem heads to send them out to get ported to test the gains. But as far as cams go it's going to be expensive because it's not just one or two cams your dealing with. And on top of that I believe there are certain lobes that require attention. So is it possible yes. But it's going to be expensive custom work from a quality quality can specialist. And the gains may or may not be worth it. That's why the tried method for power on the LLT and LFX are nitrous and FI.

Scroll down this page:
https://www.facebook.com/SVSCairns?fref=ts

There is a video and a dyno graph.

SVS in Australia has made 250rwkw, with a set of Mace Engineering Group camshafts for the LFX. Started at 190rwkw and the end result was around 250rwkw. So a jump of about 80rwhp with other mods like cold air intake etc.

Turns out that all this time it was in the tune!! Tuners not knowing how to effectively tune for SIDI There has also been lots of recent successes with LLT's as well using HPTUNERS

Holy Crap

That's amazing. I did the HP and TQ conversions.

Went from 256RWHP to 335RWHP and 214RWTQ to 260RWTQ with different intake, cams, and tune.

I want to know more about this magical tune, and can LFX owners in the states get it?

Also, did MACE change the cams again recently, or was the problem all in the tune? I know MACE recently said their LLT cams were ready, but their LFX cams were not. I guess that changed?

Love this update. Deserves its own thread.

Yeah, I want to know about this also. Those gains are pretty significant.
