help on my 2013 v6 lfx camaro
Hi i was just wondering if selling my camaro for 22k is a good price. it has 25k miles, i am trying to see if someone would buy it because the pay off balance is 22k and i really am wanting a v8.

Considering a bunch of 2014-2015 models were just selling new for under $20k [recent 20% off old stock sale] I'd say your chances, even with the improvements, are slim.

I just paid $24,200 for a 2012 2SS/RS with 20,700 miles on it. You may be a little high on price but who knows. Someone may pay it.

I just did this V6 to ZL1 upgrade myself.
I sold my 13' V6 2LT/RS with 35k miles for 21k. I'd say between 18-20k is your target range for selling. Sell it, take the 2-4k hit on the V6 car and go get your V8. You wont regret it.

I just got a 2013 2LT RS with 24k miles for $20 k before taxes it was the lowest price I could get a from a dealer. Most of them are listed for 22-23k range hope it helps and good luck!

i would hate to say it but with a 1ls going for 19-21k new on average its going to be a very tough sell for you at 22k.
keep in mind that if you sell it you need to come up with the difference so the buyer can get the lein release |

You could try craigslist and post it for 22k or best offer and see what kind of offers you get. You could also try cars.com or autotrader. Because it's an LS I don't think you'll get over 20k considering some 2014s and 2015s are going for under 20k. These cars depreciate quick especially with the 6th gens around the corner. I paid 27k for my 2SS almost a year ago and even with the money I've spent and everything I've done to it it's worth maybe about the same if not less.

Your best bet it to sell it Private and hope that someone will really like the upgrades you made. I saw couple brand new LS models go for 19k when I was shopping for mine. Have you tried to see how much you would get from Carmax? I know that most of the time they will give you a ridiculous offer but it only takes 15-20 mins and maybe you can get 17-18 if you get lucky.

i did forget to say that my car has aftermarket audio i could keep in there as well, and i have a cnc ported throttle body from vmax

Good luck with finding the right buyer. It's a sharp car and you just never know if it will catch someone's eye? Also, Semper Fi Brother! If you decide to get rid of the VMAX give me a shout. I have a stocker off of a 2015 with 600 miles I will trade. Also, meet "Devil Dog". lol Be safe!
