Question about clutch!!

My catch point in my car is a lot higher than what it was. I'm taking it in tomorrow to get checked I'm nervous that it could need replacing but what else could it be?

Not quite sure i understand the problem, the catch point is higher then your previous car? if so that normal. If its higher then say a month ago Im not sure what would cause that. If im not mistaken when a clutch is going bad it slips alot easier, not grabs at a higher point.

Lots of blanks to fill in. What car? How many miles? Most importantly, does it have a slave cylinder for the clutch? If the answer to the last question is "yes" then it could be your low on fluid or the slave cylinder needs replacing. Depending on the car, this can be VERY easy and not too expensive.

Since it shares the reservoir with the brakes the fluid level could be fluctuating. I notice on my car the brake fluid is constantly getting pushed out the cap and drooling on the fender. I also notice some differences where the clutch "catches" from time to time.
