A lot of the wife's concern was the people. She likes the Camaro crowd so no Corvette for me. Honestly, I like the Camaro crowd too so I'm perfectly happy with the ZL1 choice. I guess I'm just a beer and peanuts kind of guy. Someone else can have the wine and cheese.

I love my Camaro, but its not even a contest. Get the Stingray. You won't regret it. As for it being an "old man's car", that's because most younger people can't afford one! It's a hell of a car in base form, and more bolt-ons coming every day...

Yep. A nice '68 442 W30 should do nicely.

Seven years ago this month I took delivery of the car you see in my avatar. I'll be 68 this coming fall, and aside from the occasional "mid-life crisis" internet discussion it hasn't once occurred to me that some people might actually consider my GT to have been an age-inappropriate purchase. Don't give a rat's ass if that's what anybody does think. I have also driven a 7th gen 'Vette, for one hot lap on a road course, courtesy of Chevy and the Hooked On Driving track day organization. It's an amazingly capable car. Norm |

I have a 2011 Synergy Green Camaro and I totally love the car. I have owned some nice cars but I have never had a car that draws attention like a Synergy Green Camaro. However, if I could afford it and if my wife would let me (which she won't) I would trade our Synergy Green Camaro for a new 2015 Corvette in Laguna Blue Tintcoat with Chrome wheels.
