Street car? Track car? How much power? Single or twin turbo? Is the engine built for the power? Intercooler type? What electronics does the car have? Turbo timer? How long has the system been on the car? What brand is/are the turbo (s)?
Anything done to the transmission or chassis?

If you think in terms of worst case scenario then figure on rebuilding the turbo. Other than a cam failure, there really isn't any "extra" cost. The general rule of more power more money will always apply, but that power level isn't insane, and your far from stressing the stock bottom end.

8 lbs of boost on the supporting mods that you have listed isn't a huge strain on the engine

the ZR1 cam is pretty stout, so you could probably crank the boost up a little more and be fine.

Very passé this kind of thinking, I still see this in SC vs Turbo threads.

It's all about size optimization, and optimum efficiency for given application, but even with variable vane technology, etc, some cars out there are at full powaaa, right off idle practically .
