I'd say it's a must with any FI build, but that's just my opinion. To answer your question though, it would depend on how your can is currently routed. If it's coming off of the valley or driver side valve cover, then no changes are necessary. If you are using the oil fill port in some way, then yes, you would need to change things up.

You definitely want one with the check valve though. You want to let any/all crankcase pressure escape, whether that is through the intake tract or out through the breather, while preventing the ingestion of any un-filtered and un-metered airflow that could cause havoc with the tune.

Just tell her the camaro is an of spring of a [Mustang} and you like to keep the car happy.

Yes, my current can is coming off the port on the driver side valve cover. So should I just buy that metco breather with the check valve and only install on pass side? No port for it on the driver side

I have this one on my engine. You can get them to fit the stock valve cover, or like the one I got because I have the Holley tall billet covers. They have the check valve in them.

My wife said last week “that car has not been working for the past year, you should sell it”...... in my head.. idk if she’s for real or if she’s serious. Cuz I would get a C7Z in a heart beat.

The pump booster is the fpcm? The one that plugs in by the rear seats?

No, but i forgot, the tuned fuel pump control module also came. The boost a pump is an amp looking thing that comes with a pressure switch and ups the votage to the pump as boost increases

Correct, replace the oil fill cap with the C-F-M breather/check valve.
