Drop in piston/rod upgrade?

I see Vengance Racing offers a drop-in piston/rod upgrade for the LT1 crowd, that does not require rebalancing.

Does anyone know if this exists for the ls3, and if not why?

I dont think you have to balance rods and pistons. I think that's optional.

The crank is what gets balanced. Changing the piston or rod requires a rebalance. Unless you have exactly matched the "bob weight" of the new piston/rod/ring combo.

Idk how that would be possible without measuring the bore and selecting a piston. Then there's ring end gap that needs to be checked and or adjusted. Even stock pistons have grade differences for proper piston to wall clearance. Idk how GM does it, but where i work, pistons are select fitted like bearings, after the bore is measured. I suppose it "could" work as a drop in, but I'd be weary of it IMO.
