Normandy - 2010 Cadillac SRX
She's finally here! And a nice change up from Caribbean Blue (ordered), to Aqua (actual vehicle colour) i'm happy with too! For some reason they changed the blue between the time i ordered and when they built it!
Only one small error, the dealer put the plate frame on (ordered from MB). So it goes back on monday for them to fix the holes in the bumper. And it uses special new Cadillac bolts that i have nothing to take it off with!! :( 2010 Cadillac SRX 3.0L AWD Premium Aqua Blue Metallic Days 1 and 2: Canadian DIC Premium back seat -the floor mats are there until my Caddy ones arrive *sigh*

holy shit, that is one really nice cadillac. i think im going to buy this instead of the cts. does it cost less then the cts? i shall go investigate now. lol... its a couple grand less. hmmm. i have so many decisions to make. hopefully when i graduate college i will get a well paid career and i could choose from the new camaro, buick regal, cts, or srx. hmm. probably just get that camaro for 26 grand.

Thanks! And yea, the SRX has a better option/money ratio then the CTS... and truck like ride height/ground clearance with CTS like handling, so you really can't lose! She handles like she's on rails! Yet still retains the signature Cadillac ride!

How's the 3.0L? I'm hearing it's fine for normal daily driving but can be sluggish at times.

Eh, the 3.0L is all i need it to be, coming from a Stage II 07 Cobalt SS SC, it's slow, but the 1/4 mile on this thing is 16 seconds or something, and 7.0 seconds to 100kph. So it's nothing fast i need anymore, the engine is good. I think what people are defining as "sluggish" is the seemingly delayed throttle response. I know why it does that, (so your not jerking your drink or head around) but people immediately say "it's slow". They just want the vehicle to snap going when they press the throttle.
Besides, it's a whole different beast in Sport mode, and the SportShift mode is absolutely great.

Great Choice! Love the color
I like that the interior has all of the wonderful things the CTS has, and I think this has a nicer gauges. Also, "Cadillac" lighting up on the door sill is sweet! I really debated this over the CTS, but opted for the manual shift. Congrats...Enjoy! |
