Spacers vs. Wheel Adapters

Hey I was considering a wider stance. 2010 RS

Maybe like some 1 inch spacers.

I can't find the extended wheel bolts anywhere, so I was gonna go with adapters.

If this topic has already been covered, can somebody please point me to the link?
