Since nothing exists for our cars I decided to make my own.

I’m definitely not a professional, but know how to wrench and do mild fab work.

All you need is a grinder, welder, 2 1/2” exhaust tubing and 16 gauge sheet metal.

If you make them be sure you are routing the air into the hub area so the hot air gets pushed out the vanes in the rotor. Do not route to the rotor itself.

I just removed the factory ducts and attached my plate to the factory inlet in the grill.

Aluminum would be better, but my welder doesn’t do aluminum and the weight saving is ounces for how small these pieces are.

Really needed cooling ducts for COTA, that place eats up pads.

I took off the ceramics and put in storage and replaced with a Brembo race kit off an old Continental series 5th gen Camaro.
Running costs are now less than half of ceramics and my pads last way longer, but then look how thick they are!

And now I can run 18” wheels with so many more tire choices.

yeah, nice work! 25mm pads? Did you by any chance weigh any thing to see net gain/loss?

There isn't a part# for the brake kit, it's put together by the race teams.

I didn't, but the weight difference between the calipers was massive, half I'd guess to OEM. I'll have to weigh the rotors next time I have them off.
