New ZL1 Issues

I've had my ZL1 coming up to two months and the list of issues is getting longer! Nothing is critical but all stuff that I need sorting out:

1. Rear bumper paint cracking at corner (common issue)
2. Air conditioned seats don't always work properly
3. Trunk release is occasionally works
4. Front screen fogs up in slow or standstill traffic (common issue #17-NA-201)
5. FM radio reception is terrible
6. Knocking from the front over speed bumps - loose sway bar PIC6276
7. Aggressive shift from 4th to 5th when driving hard 16NA019

Can anyone comment on the above? Would be good to have some ammo before taking it into Chevrolet.

Thanks,
Bunksy.

#6 sounds like the sway bar needs to be tightened...there is a TSB on the issue...

The rest???

#2 - the AC has to be on in order for the seat cooling to work.

I never switch the AC off. Living in Dubai there is little choice!

These are not A/C seats. They are ventilated.

Wondering about that TSB with front window fogging up. Is there a fix?

TSB for the front window is #17-NA-201.

Hmmm only ventilated seats? In theory whatever temperature air comes out of the dash vents should also come out of the seats!

I believe the ventilated seats simply are driven by a fan, and not connected to the interiors cooling system in any way.

My C7 Corvette has ventilated seats. They work much better when the floor vents are run along with the dash vents. Cold air directed right on the floor can better feed the seat fan. Only negative is the dash vent pressure isn't as strong when running the floor vent too.

That is not the case. All they do is vent the heat out of the seats. There is no control of the temperature of them.

ventilated seats are "fan only"

#3 yes, I'll be taking this into the dealer to fix that trunk. Sometimes the trunk doesn't open even though the computer thinks that it is. Which requires me to go through the car, pull down the back seat and pull/lift up my trunk from the inside of the car.

I'll need to try that...does the recycle air still stay on?? I think every vehicle I've had looses the max / recycled AC when using the floor as it's a heater function??

Proper AC is mighty important right now...I do wish the seats had full blown AC. I'll likely never use the heated seats / wheel.

Not sure why you're having an issue on the A/C seats. Mine get cold fast. And I don't believe it's accurate to say these seats only take out the hot air. They are paired in conjunction with the A/C cause there is no way mine blows that cold when the temperature outside is 100 degrees. They should be working in conjunction with your A/C and ventilate the cold air into them.

What exactly do you mean by front screen?
