 Might be a good thing though. I have 3 weeks until the smartphone I want is available and my current phone is asking for retirement.

Just got back from riding Thomas the train through the redwood trees of Santa Cruz mountains. Great fun, but sweet Jesus, it was expensive. Ruby had a blast. I did too! They have a kick ass steam engine there also. Lived here for 24 years and it was my first visit. Gorgeous huge trees and great staff of volunteers.

So my mom calls me crying (today has been a bad day for her and this just kinda topped it off) and she tells me that her car is shifting really rough, her oil light is on (she got her oil changed THIS morning), and her engine is knocking really loud. So I walk her through checking her oil on the phone, and she pulls out the dipstick, wipes it off, and sticks it back in. So she lets it sit for a few second and pulls it out and her dipstick is 100% dry. So I tell her to do it again and it's still dry. We're having the car towed back to the place that changed the oil so they'll fix what they caused, then we're never taking any of our cars there again. If any of you live near one, DO NOT GO TO TUFFY'S!
