I think it's doubtful that a required connection, even in intervals would happen. You'd seriously limit the machine's potential by not being online but you'd still be able to play single player games.

If i could build a badass gaming comp for 800 I would do it right now... Last computer i built (2009ish) I spent $3500.... Then again it still wipes the walls with most systems these days....

I really hope thats the case. I hate the idea of always online... And hated steam for that too until they changed it.

heh, i'm actually the same way. although I don't care for FPS in any aspect. I stick to RPG, sports, and racing. only games I would play online is sports.

I really like golf on the Kinect.

just the fact that you don't have to hold anything, like the wii and ps, the Kinect is awesome for that.

I'm a little of both. Have you played Bioshock Infinite? Amazing campaign.

I only play FPS, RPG, and similar games.... I am not a fan of sports games... I find them boring and repetitive.... Plus... If i want to play golf, ill just head off to the golf course....

Well...maybe "badass" was an overstatement

It's not unreasonable to build a decent gaming rig for around a grand these days that at the very least would beat or compete with the consoles.

Plus you wouldn't have Kinect documenting what kind of porn you watch

Loved the BioShock games... beat 1 & 2 about 5 times... Infinite i beat 2x now... So much fun!

Good Point... i do need to update my rig though... Its starting to show its age... or maybe ill build a new one....
